Welcome to Public Health month in Rotary! We are experts dealing with Public Health, aren’t we? Most of us have dealt with this one area of focus, (Disease Prevention and Treatment) through our many service projects.
It’s the end of World Polio Month, but not the end of Rotary’s efforts to eradicate the disease.
And just like that, it’s October. Is it just me, or do the days seem to fly by? It seems like we just celebrated Independence Day, but soon it will be Halloween. In the meantime, here is your October newsletter. I hope you enjoy reading about the happenings in our district and various clubs.
Welcome to September! It is hard to believe that it has already been two months since I was installed as your Governor! It has been a great few months.
I hope everyone is continuing to enjoy their summer with their Rotary Clubs, family and friends! I love seeing your pictures on Facebook of your vacations and your community projects! Remember, your Rotary Day of Service plan should be in the works. Please share those projects with all of us as much as possible via Facebook or your method of social media. Thank you for what you are planning to do in your communities this year and continuing to impact the lives of others!

Let’s continue to engage our members, develop leaders, grow Rotary by inviting someone to Rotary, maybe someone different from yourself, and retain the members that we have! Let’s continue to increase our Foundation’s impact. In 2019-2020 our Foundation awarded $95.6 million in grants can you imagine the impact our organization is making on the world in Rotary’s seven areas of focus? Let’s keep it up!
