Man in iron lung discovers Rotary

Paul Alexander contracted polio during a major U.S. outbreak of the disease in the late 1950s, and has lived in an iron lung since. It wasn’t until a business meeting with a club member in Texas last year that he learned about Rotary’s fight to eradicate the disease.

President-elect urges Rotary members to ‘Be a Gift to the World’

Rotary International President-elect K.R. “Ravi” Ravindran asked Rotary members to use their talents, expertise, and leadership to transform the lives of others when he announced his theme for the 2015-16 year, Be a Gift to the World, during the International Assembly in San Diego, California, USA.

MARCH – Literacy Month

27-28 Show Me Rotary PETS/SETS Jefferson City. It is mandatory for presidents-elect to attend PETS. Secretaries-elect should attend SETS. Both registration fees have been paid by your club. President-Nominees are invited also. There will also be AG Training.

31 Deadline for Rotary, Rotaract and Interact clubs to submitPresidential Citation form to district governor.

Continue to work on the Presidential Citation, District 6080 Goals, District 6080 Governor’s Citation and The Rotary Foundation Goals, but remember to HAVE FUN.
