Janet Mudd Has Been Appointed To Three-Year Term As Simplified Grants Chair in District 6080

Friends in Rotary –

I am fortunate to make another appointment to the District 6080 Leadership Team for the coming Rotary year.

Warrensburg Early-Bird Rotarian Janet Mudd has agreed to accept the position of Simplified Grants Chair in District 6080 for a three-year term beginning in 2012-13. Mudd has coordinated her club’s Simplified Grants applications for the past five years, so she knows how the administration of the program affects people at the club level.

Janet is a lending officer at First Community Bank in Warrensburg. She is a Paul Harris Fellow and currently edits the weekly bulletin for her club. Mudd is heavily involved in community work, having served six years on the Warrensburg School Board and she is in her fifth year of service on the Warrensburg School District Foundation Committee.

As a personal aside, I’ve known Janet since she was five years old. (I think I have an old photo somewhere of her attending my little brother’s birthday party.) In the ensuing decades I find no evidence to believe that she will perform in any way other than spectacular for the District – her determination fully illustrated by having put up with the Pearce family for some time now.

I’m very pleased that Janet Mudd will be joining us on the District 6080 Leadership Team. Please extend your welcome and congratulations.

Mark Pearce
Governor 2012-13
