Mark Pearce
Governor 2012-13
Rotary District 6080

On Thursday, June 6, Springfield Catholic Rotary Interact inducted their President and board members. Springfield Catholic Rotary Interact (SCRI) was first developed in 2011 by Jean Gruetzemacher, of Sunrise Rotary.

The goal of international service through Interact is to encourage and foster the advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of youth united in the ideal of service.

Interact clubs organize a variety of projects and activities that depend primarily on the interests of club members. Within the Interact program, all clubs work to enhance leadership skills, serve their community, and expand international understanding. Together, these efforts ensure a balanced club program and provide important experience and opportunities for each Interactor’s personal development. Each year, their goal is to do two service projects, one benefiting our community, and one strengthening our international understandings. Their motto is Service Above Self.
