Springfield SE took top honors in the Rotary District Conference 4-player scramble golf tournament this past weekend on the Payne Stewart Golf Course in Branson. The team of Brent Baldwin, John Horton, Kevin Killian and Bill McNeill shot a combined round of 62 on a wind-slapped course. Springfield North and Lake Ozark Daybreak were close behind with combined scores of 64 and 65 respectively.
The winning team for the A Flight was Warrensburg, comprised of Joe Good, Mark Hekler, Marion Woods and Jerry Franklin.
Representatives from from Branson, Hollister, Mountain View, Warrensburg, Jefferson City, Lake of the Ozarks and Panama were part of the field, making it the first international tournament in the history of the District.
