Jacqueline’s Rotary experience began in January of 1994 when she became a member of a Group Study Exchange (GSE) Team to D-3860 in the Philippines; a six-week experience that she says changed her life. “As a member of a GSE team to the Philippines I saw firsthand what Rotarians can do for their communities.” She had the opportunity to participate in their National Immunization Day to eradicate polio and continues to support End Polio Now, the leading global project of The Rotary Foundation. “I’ll never forget giving two drops to a child in a remote off-road village, all provided through the collaboration and service of local Rotarians, public health staff, global networks and Rotary Foundation giving. The experience formulated within me the desire to make a positive impact in the World through Rotary.”

Jacqueline joined Rotary in 2002 helping to establish and becoming a Charter Member of the Rotary Club of Pulaski County and served as the first Secretary and second President of the club. She was the host Counselor for the Club’s first Rotary Youth Exchange student, Wilhelm Richter from Rostack, Germany, who attended Waynesville High School from 2003-2004. Hosting a Rotary Youth Exchange Student made a positive impact in the Rotary Club of Pulaski County, he touched our hearts, and we all witnessed the global impact of Rotary. District-wide service includes being a former Group Study Exchange Team Leader to Germany, Assistant District Governor, Club Visioning Chair, and current engagement in projects that build leaders and support clubs. Major Donor of The Rotary Foundation, Paul Harris Society member, and Bequest Society member. Passion for fostering peace and goodwill in the world through Rotary sponsored cultural and educational exchange teams, hosting peace scholars, and global/local service projects. She is a Life member of the Association of the United States Army and seeks opportunities to engage with the military and civilian communities through Rotary. Jacqueline earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and Master of Business Administration. Her professional experience includes progressive leadership positions in psychiatric and mental health settings of all ages. In all her endeavors she strove to improve quality of care and safety while developing a positive experience for those she served. Towards the end of her career, she worked as a Nurse Surveyor evaluating care and safety of patients in hospitals. She retired in 2018 after working in Nurse Executive positions for over forty years. 1994 D-6090 GSE Team Member to Philippines; 2002 Charter Member-Rotary Club of Pulaski County; 2002-2003 Secretary; 2003-2004 President RYE Counselor; 2003-2005 D-6080 Youth Exchange Committee; 2006 D-6080 GSE Team Leader to Germany; 2007-2009 D-6080 Assistant Governor-Area 8; 2009-2012 D-6080 GSE Chair-S.
