I am pleased to announce that Kathleen Boswell, past-president of the Pettis County Rotary Club, has been chosen to serve a three-year term of Assistant Governor in District 6080. Boswell will be responsible for serving as liaison between the district and her four designated clubs – Marshall, Pettis County, Sedalia, Warrensburg and Warrensburg-Early Birds beginning July 1, 2012.
I have known Kathleen for many years. Vocationally, she has served as a a business owner/operator, journalist, and teacher. Kathleen and her husband, Greg (also a past president, of the Sedalia Rotary Club) are stalwarts in Sedalia’s Community Theatre organization.
I know she is very dedicated to her club and to her other civic and service involvements. I am sure she will serve the District and her clubs admirably…even if sometimes in costume and stage make-up.
I welcome Kathleen Boswell to the district leadership team!
