Rotary Club of Pulaski County distributes water filters
The Rotary Club of Pulaski County purchased Sawyer water filters https://www.sawyer.com/ and are distributing them to local church groups when they go on trips. So far filters have been delivered to Mozambique, Haiti, El Paterno and Guanacaste, Honduras.
The following email was recently received.

We made it back safely from our mission trip in Mozambique and successfully delivered your water filters. Several people in the village we visited worked in the local health clinic, so we all sat together while our interpreter explained how to use them (picture attached). They were very excited and were talking about who needed them most. Thank you so much for partnering with us and helping make clean water accessible for everyone.

God Bless,
Waynesville United Methodist Church

Why giving to The Rotary Foundation is the smart thing to doEconomist Quentin Wodon is a member of the Rotary Club of Washington, D.C. As co-chair of his club’s Rotary Foundation committee, he spends a lot of November encouraging club members to give. So he’s come up with some solid reasons why supporting the Foundation is not only the smart thing to do, but the right thing for Rotarians to do.

DECEMBER is Family MonthPlan events that include members’ families.
Rotary is Family.
