Fundraising Ideas

Rolla Rotary Polio FundraiserThe Rotary Club of Rolla is conducting three different fundraising activities this fall in order to build contributions toward the club’s End Polio Now goal. Club members kicked off the fundraising events in August with a Pizza for Polio promotion at the local Pizza Inn. The local Rotarians worked the floor that night for tips and a percentage of the buffet sales. This is their second year to conduct the promotion.

The next fundraiser, Pennies for Polio, was in September at Rolla Middle School.
This was the second year for this hugely successful event that raised $1,376 in its inaugural year.

October is the month for the club’s third Polio Fundraising event, The Fugitive Run, slated for October 26th.

By staging their fundraising into three different events, the Rotary Club of Rolla involves different sets of people from throughout the community in the polio eradication effort; and you can imagine that once Polio is gone for good, everyone that participated in ANY of these events will feel that she/he played a part in changing global history.
