October 2012 District Governor Newsletter

District 6080 Rotarians –

Here is the last newsletter prior to our District Conference, October 18-20 in Branson. There’s a lot about the conference inside. I look forward to seeing MANY of you there.

A couple of last minute notes:

1. It would be good to have club banners to hang in the conference area, so if you’re representing your club at the conference, please bring your local banner along to add to the spectacle.
2. Club Presidents – Don’t forget that we could use a $50 (approx. value) gift or gift basket Golf, Casino Night and conference door prizes.
3. At the conference we will be making to final collection of slightly-used clothing, sporting equipment and ambulatory equipment for deprived populations in Panama. (More on that inside the newsletter.)
4. And don’t forget the opportunity to hear Rotary International Past President Ray Klinginsmith at the Foundation Banquet in November. More on that inside the newsletter too.
