October Letter from District Governor Mark Pearce

Mark Pearce Announcements, District Governor

October 2012

I’m glad that the summer of 2012 is well behind us and we have greenery creeping back into the landscape – just in time for the fall coloration and leaf drop.

In this more comfortable time of year I do hope to see many of you enjoying the sights, sounds and hospitality of the Ozarks, as we gather October 18-20 for the District Conference in Branson.

The 2012 District Conference committee has worked hard to make the event one every member of your family can enjoy. We’ll have District 6080 Night at Dixie Stampede Thursday, October 18th – a great dinner and show for the whole family. We’ll have a number of informative break-out sessions for new and “vintage” Rotarians and guests, and transportation for spouses and family members to top quality shopping areas and attractions. We’ll have child care available during the Friday evening banquet, and we’ll have a golf outing on one of the Midwest’s premier courses.

But the main attraction is this: You will enjoy meeting fellow Rotarians from the many clubs throughout the District, and find out what motivates them and their clubs to such great accomplishments. And you can share your successes with them too. We’re ALL going to be the better for it.

But hurry. We need your registration in as soon as possible so we know how many pies to put in the oven.

Governor 2012-13
