Approximately 80 Rotarians from Rotary District 6080 celebrated club and district achievements under 2016-17 District Governor David Bixler of Springfield and installed 2017-18 District Governor Melvin Platt of Columbia at a dinner June 25 at the Isle of Capri Hotel Ballroom in Boonville. Also installed were Susan Haralson as district governor-elect, Paul Reinert as district governor nominee, associate and assistant governors and club presidents. Larry Lunsford of Kansas City, former Rotary International director and current chair of the RI membership committee, was the master of ceremonies.
