Please accept my personal invitation to join me and fellow Rotarians and New Generations program participants in Berlin, Germany, for a Rotary Global Peace Forum taking place 30 November – 2 December 2012.
This three-day program is the first of three Rotary Global Peace Forums that will be held during the 2012-13 Rotary year. The Berlin forum will examine the role of democracy in building peace and promote opportunities for people to engage one another in international understanding and cooperation. This event will also celebrate and highlight the role of Rotary’s intercountry committees in promoting understanding among nations.
The program will include an array of engaging speakers and special guests, insightful discussion panels, and workshops. Interpretation will be provided in English and German. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Berlin’s historical sights, exciting cultural attractions, and amazing modern architecture.
