Springfield Area Clubs Update

The Rotaract Club of Springfield is always on the lookout for ways to reach out to those in need.  Whether helping the Boys & Girls Town of Missouri get ready to go back to school, planning the kid’s annual Halloween party or fundraising through special events such as the annual Casino Night, members are constantly finding ways to live their mission of Rotary.  The Club supports local youth by donating time and money each year to Boys & Girls Town and other area charities.  They perform one community service project every month.

Don’t Meth With Us Project Expands In Springfield

Springfield area Rotary clubs continue to reach out to young adults about the dangers of meth addiction. Springfield’s KYTV interviewed a number of students about their latest interaction with the Rotary sponsored “Don’t Meth With Us” program. 6080 Assistant Governor John Horton is also interviewed in the piece.

Don’t Meth With Us Project Gets Local Coverage

The “Don’t Meth With Us” campaign conducted by Rotary clubs in Southwest Missouri are having a positive impact amongst the youth in the region. That was exemplified by the recent discovery of a meth jar, discovered and reported by a diligent 13-year old girl. Springfield’s television station KSPR filed this report.
